After School Programs
- The KPE staff of trained instructors assist children in developing reading and mathematic skills through providing assigned homework assistance. Supplementary materials are available to strengthen the learning process. The program includes a variety of enrichment activities that are not always offered during regular school hours. Health and physical fitness are included in the program. As children learn and explore, they are bound to acquire a positive attitude toward school and a desire to excel in their education. KPE program services are offered to elementary schools and children’s organizations.
Learning about the Environment
- Learning about the environment teaches children about environmental concerns
around the world as well as close to home. Elementary and middle school students learn
about endangered/threatened species, global warming, pollution, and other timely issues
that can and will affect their future. KPE students and their families have participated in local recycle programs,
household waste collection events, beach and river clean-ups, and tree re-planting projects.
In House Science Field Trips
- In house field-trips and workshops presented by Angeline King and staff, specialist
in science and environmental studies. Suitable for elementary schools & middle schools.
Tot Programs
- Pre-school children are involved in cognitive fun with emphasis on comprehension and understanding of concepts as opposed to rote learning. Gross and fine motor skills are a vital part of this “Ready to Learn” program.
